Now in it's 6th Edition, Evans and Smith: The Law of Landlord and Tenant follows in the previous tradition of providing an excellent text for student and new practitioners alike.

The text adopts and very logical and step-by-step process.  This means that as the reader progresses through the chapter information is layered onto their existing knowledge.  This is an excellent approach as it allows the student to build up confidence in the area of law that they are studying.

The material contains both practical and academic content which allows the student to develop both ideas in contextual circumstances, thus aiding understanding.  The material is readily accessible, with much of the text being divided into manageable chunks.  This layout also aides research as specific questions can be answered by consulting the relevant paragraph, rather than sifting through irrelevant material.

In conclusion, the material is very accessible and contains a high level of academic commentary.  The price, coupled with the excellent academic scholarly and practical value, means that the text is excellent value for money for both students and practitioners alike.
