Thank you for all the submissions we have received for the 2009 Edition of The Student Law Journal.  Over the coming weeks, we will gradually publish all of the selected articles on the site.  The first is an article by Faye Walker entitled 'How Gender Biased is Islamic Law?'.  Please either click the hyperlink to read it in full or go to the "academic articles" section of the site.

11/10/09: Competition Winner

Thank you very much for all of the entries we received for our competition.  Our question was for the (a) case name and (b) names of the barristers and solicitors who acted for the parties.  The correct answer was (a) Spirerose Limited (in administration) v Transport for London and (b) Lodders Solicitors LLP and Nicholas Nardeccia for Spirerose and Eversheds LLP and Michael Barnes QC for Transport for London

Out of the very many correct answers, the winner is Michelle Jones from London.  She should shortly receive her prizes courtesy of The Student Law Journal and our friends at Palgrave Macmillan.  Please keep checking back for further competitions.
