This new text from Stephen Coveney, who was involved in the drafting of the Land Registration Rules 2003, attempts to give the practitioner an all in one resource book on Land Registration since the enactment of the Land Registration Act 2002.

The text adopts a very practical approach, cutting out the unnecessary waffle and providing the reader with a definitive account of Land Registration procedures.  The text also informs the reader which form should be used, the appropriate fee and which documents which should be sent to the Registry.

The text also includes an excellent account on the new Restrictions and Notices which can be registered against an estate.  Included amongst this account are the different types of Restrictions.  This enables the practitioner to select the appropriate restriction to protect an interest in a property.

A subject which many similar texts tend to over-look is bankruptcy of the registered proprietor.  This text explains the effect of a bankruptcy order and how the Trustee in Bankruptcy should protect their interest.  This is an excellent inclusion.

This is an incredibly practical text which provides the practitioner with an excellent resource in light of the recent legislative changes.  The text is also substantially cheaper than it's rivals.  Without this text I'm sure I would spend many a frustrated hour!
